SCHWABEDISSEN supplied a cross cut saw for a new roof elements production line in China. The saw is positioned behind the double belt press in the continuous production line of composite material. 
The material dimensions are as follows:
- width: 900 - 1.250 mm
- thickness: 40 - 200 mm
During the cross cut the gantry is travelling at the same speed with the continuously produced material.
The saw is equipped with two saws from above and bottom because of the special composite material steel sheet/foam/steel sheet.

SCHWABEDISSEN gantry saws, optionally with one or two longitudinal saws and one cross saw, arranged on a common or on separate saw carriage(s).

If required or desired all the drives are equipped with servo drive motors that allow exact positioning with high speeds.

Manual or automatic feeding of the books of panels from the lifting table by an integrated feeding unit placed on saw table. After that the cut book moves automatically from saw table to the discharging section.

A typical application for press boards is the electrical insulation. During their production process the boards have to be divided into standard dimensions.

The Book dividing saw S50 can be positioned separately or as in this case be a part in a production line. The mostly very thin boards are stacked to a book up to 80 mm.
In the next step the gantry saw with one longitudinal saw and one cross saw is cutting the book into standard dimensions.
