01.04.1872 - Engineering works founded by locksmith Johann Friedrich Meyer and mechanical engineer Wilhelm Schwabedissen, for the manufacture of sawmill and joinery machinery.

1920 The first Panel sizing saws for plywood sheets

1935 The first Schwabedissen Double end tenoner

1948 The first planer/thicknesser "the Whisperer" is delivered

1993 Design
Schwabedissen was the first company to present its machinery at the LIGNA fair, demonstrating their patented technology and functional design.
